Dress Like A Cow On July 12, Get Free Food From Chick-Fil-A

If you’ve got a hankering for free food and have no problem looking like a farm animal in public, July 12 will be your lucky day: Chick-fil-A is offering complimentary entrees to anyone who shows up at its restaurants dressed like a cow.

The chain is celebrating its “Eat Mor Chikin Campaign” with the 12th annual “Cow Appreciation Day” on Tuesday, and it’s all about showing your spots at one of Chick-fil-A’s 2,000 U.S. locations: to qualify you have to wear some kind of cow attire — either a full costume or simply a cow accessory at the restaurant, anytime between when the location opens through 7 p.m. local time.

Customers who get all cowed up will get a choice of a free entree, while kids will receive a free Kid’s Meal for dressing in a cow costume, Chick-fil-A says.

“Cow Appreciation Day is the one day where it’s okay to dress ‘udderly’ crazy and get rewarded for it,” said Jon Bridges, Chick-fil-A’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer. We see what he did there.
